Like always, when a new event comes to Club Penguin, there comes a new log-in screen. For the Penguin Play Awards of 2010, there came a really cool log-in screen that I want you to check out!

There always comes a new Costume Trunk at the Stage when a new play are set up. There also comes a special Costume Trunk for the Penguin Play Awards! There are three hidden items in this edition of the Costume Trunk catalog. You can find guides on how to find those hidden items, below.
How to find the Penguin Awards Background. (For everyone!)
1. Go to the 1st page of the Costume Trunk catalog.
2. Click on the Penguin Play Award in the Penguin Play Awards logo.
How to find the Lobster Costume.
1. Go to the 3rd page of the Costume Trunk catalog.
2. Click on the scope on the top of the submarine on the right.
How to find the Squidzoid Costume.
1. Go to the 5th page of the Costume Trunk catalog.
2. Click on VS. in the middle of the superhero play logo on the left.

The second annual Penguin Play Awards are doing fantastic so far! There are decorations everywhere! There are also three free items. Below are guides on how to get these free items. Let’s check it out!
How to find the Press Hat.
1. Open up your map.
2. Go to the Dock.
3. Click on the box of Press Hats.
4. Click “Yes” to pick the Press Hat up and add it to your inventory.
How to find the Video Camera. (Members only!)
1. Open up your map.
2. Go to the Plaza.
3. Go to the Stage.
4. Go to the Backstage.
5. Click on the box of Video Cameras.
6. Click “Yes” to pick it up and add it to your inventory.
How to get the Penguin Play Award. (Members only!)
1. Open up your map.
2. Go to the Plaza.
3. Go to the Stage.
4. Go to the Backstage.
5. Click on the table with Penguin Play Awards on it.
6. Click “Yes” to pick it up and add it to your inventory.

Hello penguins, Flame0522 here, And Happy St. Patricks Day!
By now many of you have probably tried out the new Puffle Rescue game in the Mine. If you haven’t, I definitely suggest heading down and trying it out. It’s a lot of fun! And so Screenhog posted some tips that have worked out for him so far:
1. Look before you leap… or swim.
It helps to look ahead and plan your jumps. Remember that while you only have a little time to act, looking ahead and waiting for the best chance works well.
2. Sometimes ‘close’ is close enough.
If you mistime your jump, or if you need to make a fast leap, you can still land safely even if your aim isn’t perfect. You’ll grab onto moving platforms automatically if you’re close enough…
3. Watch for new challenges.
At first, each level you reach will introduce a new challenge. Be cautious – there are tons of break-away platforms and ice chunks, along with sharks, bumpers, cannons and more. Pay close attention until you master all of them…
4. Last but not least, a few hidden tricks…
Have you tried standing on the mine carts until they leave the screen yet? Try it out! And if it gets too dark for you in the mine levels, remember that standing on the black and white check points will give you more light.

Rory has confirmed that the Caves are now safe again to explore. And many penguins are exploring the caves and drilling to earn coins.
And you can still pick up a hard hat in the Cave Mine.
1. Click on your map.
2. Click on the Mine in the top right near the middle.
3. Go inside the Mine.
4. Go inside the Cave.
5. Walk on top of the yellow jackhammer with the two hard hats on the top.
Now with this hard hat you can drill on the dirt. And instead of getting the pin they gave before, You can now get coins! I think that this is one of Club Penguin’s best ideas! And it is a easy way to earn coins.

The caves have now re-opened! And you can now play the new Game Puffle Rescue. And the team’s really excited to see how you like it. Last week they wanted to hear your daring rescue stories, and Violet5550 said:
I would get a group of pioneering penguins and together we would make a quest for the missing puffles. We would dress up as safely as we could wearing a helmet and safety jacket then get our super long powered torches and set of into the pitch black caves and hopefully rescue all the puffles and be known as heroes! After that we would relax at the coffee shop!

Club Penguin’s brand new game, the “Puffle Rescue” game is getting really popular on Club Penguin! The game is easy to play, really cool and alot of fun. The new game is located at the Mine. How to go to the Mine:
1. Click on your map.
2. Click on the Mine shack.
3. Waddle into the Mine shack.
Next to the cave entrance, you will see the Puffle Rescue game. To play, click on the corkboard with the map and the pictures of the puffles. There are three different kinds of puffles that you can rescue. You can rescue Blue puffles, Pink puffles, or Black puffles. However, only members can rescue the Pink and Black puffles. Now let’s rescue some puffles!
Before starting to play, you will see a starting screen where you can choose what puffles you want to rescue. But first, I recommend that you should check out the instructions before playing. Here are the instrucions on how to play:
Use your arrow keys to move up, down, left, and right to control where you penguin is going. Move on to the path and don’t take a wrong turn. To finish the level, you have to get the puffle and bring it to the finish line. Now it’s time for you to try it out! When you start saving puffles, you will get this message!
Keep playing! The higher level you get onto, the more puffles you get to save, and you get more coins! I have played this game many times and already rescued a lot of puffles! How many puffles are you going to rescue?

Hello penguins!
The Puffle Rescue game has been released! In the Puffle Rescue game, your objective is to rescue puffles who are stuck somewhere in the mine area. To begin with, I want to tell you that the secret caves have been re-opened to the public. The caves are almost the same but they have taken some minor changes. There is a door blocking the entrance to the underwater room. To get to the underwater room, you need a key to open up the door. To get the key, you have to be a member. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to get the key to the door.
1. Open up your map and go to the Mine Shack.
2. Go into the Mine and click on the Puffle Rescue game.
3. Go to the Puffle Rescue game menu and play the black puffle rescue.
4. Find the black puffle, but don’t return it to the finish line.
5. Wait for a giant squid to come in the background.
6. Follow the squid and use the air bubbles that it gives to stay close to the surface.
7. When you see land, turn to the right until you see an entrance to the underground.
8. When you have entered, you should appear underwater.
9. Waddle to the Moss Key pin by clicking on it.
10. Click “Yes” to pick it up to your inventory.
When you have picked up the Moss Key pin, you have finished this and now have full access to the Underwater room! Congratulations! What do you think of the new game? I think it’s amazing! Leave the answer in a comment!
